নারী উন্নয়ন, শিক্ষা ও ধর্মীয় মূল্যবোধে গুরুত্ব বাড়াতে হবে : শিমুল বিশ্বাস
বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার বিশেষ সহকারী অ্যাডভোকেট শামছুর রহমান শিমুল বিশ্বাস বলেছেন, নারী উন্নয়ন, শিক্ষা ও ধর্মীয় মূল্যবোধে গুরুত্ব বাড়াতে হবে। শুক্রবার (৩১ অক্টোবর) দিনব্যাপী বিভিন্ন কর্মসূচির মধ্যে সকালে পাবনা সদর উপজেলার দোগাছি কলেজপাড়া আবাসিক হাফিজিয়া মাদরাসা, এতিমখানা ও লিল্লাহ বোর্ডিংয়ের উদ্বোধন করেন এবং শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে স্থানীয় বিএনপি নেতৃবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার বিশেষ সহকারী, কেন্দ্রীয় শ্রমিক দলের প্রধান সমন্বয়ক ও এবি ট্রাস্টের চেয়ারম্যান অ্যাড. শামছুর রহমান শিমুল বিশ্বাস বলেছেন, বিশ্বের সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে এগিয়ে যেতে হলে প্রযুক্তিগত শিক্ষার কোনো বিকল্প নেই। দক্ষ জনশক্তি গড়তে হলে শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রযুক্তি ও দক্ষতায় পারদর্শী হতে হবে।
Vision screening for 50,000 drivers, distribution of 30,000 pairs of eyeglasses launched
To mark National Road Safety Day, global social enterprise VisionSpring has launched a nationwide initiative in Bangladesh to provide free vision screening and eyeglasses for professional drivers, said a press release. পরিবহন সেক্টরের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করতে হবে : শিমুল বিশ্বাস
বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসনের বিশেষ সহকারী ও জাতীয়তাবাদী শ্রমিক দলের সমন্বয়কারী শামসুর রহমান শিমুল বিশ্বাস বলেছেন, পথে পথে সন্ত্রাস ডাকাতি ছিনতাই চাঁদাবাজিতে পরিবহন সেক্টর অতিষ্ঠ। এ সেক্টরে ৭৫ লাখ শ্রমিক এবং বড় বাণিজ্যিক বিনিয়োগ হয় কিন্তু সবচেয়ে বেশি বদনাম বহন করে চলতে হচ্ছে। সব ধরনের বিশৃঙ্খলা পরিহার করে পরিবহন সেক্টরে নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।
